Why we don't take a percentage
A lot of competition platforms take a slice of every entry. We deliberately don't, for two reasons.
The first is practical: your club already has a way of collecting a tenner off people, and it works. Routing it through a payment processor adds fees, adds a refund policy, and adds a conversation with your treasurer that nobody wants to have.
The second is that the moment a platform starts holding stakes and paying out pots, it stops being a piece of software and starts being something that needs a great deal more legal scaffolding. Keeping the money where it already is — with your club — keeps this simple for everyone.
Questions
Do you take a cut of the prize pot?
No. Your club collects entry fees directly from players and keeps the whole pot. We charge for the software only and never handle your players' money.
What counts as a player?
Anyone entered in your current competition. Players who have been eliminated still count for that season, because their picks and history stay in the competition.
What if we outgrow our plan mid-season?
Upgrade at any time from your admin area and pay the difference. Nothing is interrupted and no data moves.
Can we cancel?
Yes, any time, from your billing page. Your competition keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for.
Is there a discount for charities or junior clubs?
Get in touch. We would rather a junior section ran a competition than didn't.
